The third MSGP Sub Cluster Meeting was held on 23 February 2021. The speakers of the two presentations were Prof. Catherine S. CHAN and Vénus Teresa VIANA.
Prof. Venus raised the paradox of the two perceptions – difficult lives for many contrasted with general economic prosperity. Prof. Chan raised some of the challenges that she had faced when working on the project about Macanese elites, which were the depth of the research and the disorganization of the archival sources.
