CALL FOR APPLICATION

Dear Colleagues,

The Institute of Advanced Studies in Humanities and Social Sciences (hereafter referred to as “IAS”) is delighted to announce the call for applications for the 5th IAS Fellowship Scheme. Based on our past experiences and feedback, the Fellowship Scheme will undergo a revision starting in 2025 to better support interdisciplinary research and collaboration. We would like to invite you to participate in this open recruitment process to engage in interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary research.

Scheme Highlights

  • Funding Support: IAS will provide funding support for interdisciplinary research projects and academic activities. Fellows can apply for funding based on their needs to enhance research and collaboration.
  • Academic Engagement: IAS will regularly organize international academic conferences, lectures, and events to encourage cross-disciplinary academic discussions, and provide opportunities for fellows to present their latest research findings.
  • Exchange and Collaboration: IAS will host gatherings and luncheon meetings to facilitate networking among scholars from different disciplines, promoting interdisciplinary collaborations through casual conversations.

  • Eligibility: All regular academic staff of the University of Macau
  • Fellowship Duration: 2 years (Jan 2025 – Dec 2026)
