The first lecture of “IAS Lectures on Frontiers in Humanities” was held in the Lecture Hall of the Cultural Building on March 17, 2021.
Prof. Rostam J. Neuwirth, the Senior Research Fellow of IAS and Head of Department of Global Legal Studies, delivered a presentation entitled “Legal Synaesthesia and the Regulation of ‘Fake News’”. Prof. Sun Yifeng, the Senior Research Fellow of IAS, Chair Professor and Head of Department of English, was invited to be the facilitator of the lecture. It attracted more than 70 UM staffs and students to attend the lecture which mixed virtual and physical participation.
