Fellowship Scheme

The Fellowship Programme falls into two categories: Fellowship Scheme (Regular Staff) and Fellowship Scheme (Those Who Are Not Regular Staff).

The Fellowship Scheme (Regular Staff) will provide support for UM scholars to complete their distinguished academic works at final stage of conclusion. The support will include funding for hiring substitute teachers.

The Fellowship Scheme (Those Who Are Not Regular Staff) is designed for senior or leading external scholars. It also aims to cultivate outstanding young scholars, offering opportunities for them to communicate with and learn from external senior scholars and internal scholars. Young and senior scholars can draw encouragement and inspiration from each other in the IAS. According to the visit plans and qualifications of the scholars, visiting fellows will receive different levels of funding from the university.

Section Four of the application form must be completed by the department head and faculty dean. Applicants will sign the tripartite agreement with their affiliated faculty and IAS upon the approval of their application.
